  heavy rainfall and flash flooding. Up to three inches of rain have 
  already fallen. Life threatening flash flooding is occurring!

  This is a FLASH FLOOD EMERGENCY for the Oklahoma City metro and 
Moore. This is a PARTICULARLY DANGEROUS SITUATION. SEEK HIGHER 
GROUND NOW!

At 1231 PM CDT, numerous reports of ongoing flash flooding continue 
across the Oklahoma City, Edmond, and Moore metro areas. More than 
three inches of rain have fallen. Although rainfall has subsided, 
runoff continues to result in flash flooding.

Flood waters are moving down low water crossings and low lying 
areas.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as
well as other drainage areas and low lying spots.
