This will result in a dry, fluffy snowfall with accumulations of 2 to 4 inches possible in northwest and north central Iowa, then diminishing amounts farther south and east. Another winter system moves through the middle of this week, beginning early Wednesday morning in southeastern Iowa and spreading north and east through the day before eventually departing in the evening. This will also produce a dry, fluffy snowfall with the greatest accumulations of 4 to 7 inches expected over southeastern Iowa, then diminishing accumulations farther north and west. Both systems have the potential to produce slick and hazardous travel as snow collects on roadways.
