...FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 AM CDT THIS MORNING 
FOR PULASKI AND BALLARD COUNTIES...

At 524 AM CDT, Doppler radar estimates between 3 and 5 inches of 
rain have already fallen across Pulaski and Ballard counties, with 
the heaviest totals in southern Ballard. Several more rounds of 
thunderstorms are expected over the next few hours.  Additional 
rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the warned area. 
Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE...Radar.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
         highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
         drainage and low-lying areas.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Cairo, La Center, Wickliffe, Mounds, Barlow, Tamms, Mound City, 
  Karnak, Lovelaceville, Ullin, Kevil, Olmsted, New Grand Chain, 
  Pulaski and Blandville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.
