...WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 PM PDT THIS 
EVENING ABOVE 5500 FEET AND WEST OF U.S. HIGHWAY 395...

* WHAT...Periods of heavy snow. Additional snow accumulations 
  between 1 and 4 inches west of US 395, including Fredonyer Pass 
  and Yuba Summit, with up to 6 inches at the highest elevations.

* WHERE...Lassen-Eastern Plumas-Eastern Sierra Counties.

* WHEN...Until 11 PM PDT this evening.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous conditions 
  could impact this evening's commute. Blowing snow could cause 
  reduced visibilities.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in 
your vehicle in case of an emergency. The latest road conditions for

EVENING...

* WHAT...Moderate to heavy snow. Additional snowfall accumulations 
  of 3 to 6 inches with 4 to 8 inches above 7000 feet. Ridge winds 
  gusting as high as 75 mph. Lake Tahoe winds west-southwest gusting 
  up to 35 mph with waves of 2 to 3 feet.

* WHERE...Greater Lake Tahoe Area.

* WHEN...Until 11 PM PDT this evening.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult to impossible. The 
  hazardous conditions could impact this evening's commute. Blowing 
  snow could cause reduced visibilities. Isolated lightning strikes 
  are possible within stronger cells.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Heavier cells could produce 1 to 2 inch per 
  hour snowfall rates with sudden reductions to visibility.
