...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Oregon...

  Silvies River Near Burns affecting Harney County.

.Warm temperatures will continue to melt snowpack and result in 
increased river flows.

For the Silvies River...including Burns...Minor flooding is forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive 
cars through flooded areas.

The next statement will be issued late tonight at 200 AM PDT.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Silvies River near Burns.

* WHEN...Until further notice.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 10:00 AM PDT Friday the stage was 14.5 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 10.5 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 10:00 AM PDT Friday was 14.5 feet.
  - Forecast...The river will fall to 12.4 feet late Monday
    evening. It will then rise to 13.4 feet late Wednesday
    morning. It will fall to 13.0 feet Thursday afternoon. It
    will then rise to 13.4 feet Saturday, April 05. It will fall
    again but remain above flood stage.
  - Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    14.7 feet on 04/08/1943.
