Total snow accumulations between 2 and 8 inches possible across the watch area. The higher end of that range over west central and northern Iowa. Winds could gust as high as 55 mph. * WHERE...Portions of central and northwest Iowa. * WHEN...From late Tuesday night through late Wednesday night. * IMPACTS...The strong winds and weight of snow on tree limbs may down power lines and could cause sporadic power outages. Whiteout conditions are possible and may make travel treacherous and potentially life-threatening. Travel could be very difficult. Widespread blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility.
