...A TORNADO WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1100 PM CDT FOR
NORTHEASTERN CARTER AND NORTHWESTERN WAYNE COUNTIES...
At 1041 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located near Garwood, or 8 miles east of Van Buren, moving
northeast at 55 mph.
HAZARD...Tornado and ping pong ball size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.
IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage
to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is
likely.
This dangerous storm will be near...
Piedmont around 1050 PM CDT.
Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include Mill
Spring.
