* WHAT...Flooding caused by rainfall continues.
* WHERE...Portions of northeast Illinois, including the following
county, Cook and northwest Indiana, including the following
county, Lake IN.
* WHEN...Until noon CST.
* IMPACTS...Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 738 AM CST, several stream, creek, and river levels remain
above bankfull in the advisory area due to repeated rounds of
rainfall in the past 36 hours. While additional rainfall is
expected today, amounts should not be high enough to worsen
flooding. River levels should begin to slowly fall later
today.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Hammond, Gary, Calumet City, Portage, Merrillville, Chicago
Heights, East Chicago, Schererville, Hobart, Lansing, Crown
Point, Harvey, Highland, Munster, Dolton, Park Forest,
Homewood, Matteson, Steger and South Holland.
