CST/ THURSDAY...

* WHAT...Heavy snow. Additional snow accumulations between 11 and 19 
  inches. Winds gusting as high as 45 mph.

* WHERE...Gogebic, Keweenaw, Northern Houghton, Ontonagon, and 
  Southern Houghton Counties.

* WHEN...Until 1 AM EST /midnight CST/ Thursday.

* IMPACTS...The strong winds and weight of snow on tree limbs may 
  down power lines and could cause sporadic power outages. Travel 
  could be very difficult to impossible. Areas of blowing snow could 
  significantly reduce visibility. The hazardous conditions could 
  impact the Wednesday morning and evening commutes. Gusty winds 
  could bring down tree branches.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Snow will increase in intensity after 
  midnight. Snowfall rates could exceed an inch per hour Wednesday 
  morning.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in

* WHAT...Heavy snow. Additional snow accumulations around 1 foot 
  near the lakeshore to around 2 feet in the higher terrain, except 
  6 to 12 inches over far southern and southwestern Marquette 
  County. Ice accumulations around a light glaze this evening. Winds 
  gusting as high as 45 mph near the lakeshore on Wednesday.

* WHERE...Baraga and Marquette Counties.

* WHEN...Until 1 AM EST Thursday.

* IMPACTS...The strong winds and weight of snow on tree limbs may 
  down power lines and could cause sporadic power outages. Travel 
  could be very difficult to impossible. The hazardous conditions 
  could impact the Wednesday morning and evening commutes.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Snow will increase in intensity after 
  midnight, but may remain rain along the lakeshore. Any rain will 
  change to snow by early Wednesday morning and become heavy with 
  rates exceeding one inch per hour.

  down power lines and could cause sporadic power outages. Travel 
  could be very difficult to impossible. The hazardous conditions 
  could impact the Wednesday morning and evening commutes.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Snow will move in after midnight, but may 
  remain rain near the lakeshore. Any rain will change to snow by 
  mid-morning Wednesday and become heavy with snowfall rates of half 
  an inch to an inch per hour.
