East central Aroostook County in northern Maine... * Until 1015 AM EST. * At 932 AM EST, a dangerous snow squall was located along a line extending from near Fort Fairfield to 7 miles northeast of Scopan to near Smyrna Mills, moving east at 35 mph. HAZARD...Flash freeze on roads. Intense bursts of heavy snow. Gusty winds leading to blowing snow and visibility rapidly falling to less than one-quarter mile. Wind gusts greater than 35 mph. SOURCE...Radar and webcams. IMPACT...Travel will become difficult and potentially dangerous within minutes. This includes the following highways... Interstate 95 between mile markers 277 and 304. US Highway 1 between Cary and Mars Hill. Locations impacted include...
