...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 2 PM MST THIS AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by rain and/or snowmelt and/or ice jam 
  continues to be possible.

* WHERE...Portions of western Montana, including the following 
  counties: Flathead, Lake, Lincoln, Sanders, Granite, Mineral, 
  Missoula and Ravalli.

* WHEN...Until 2 PM MST this afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of creeks, 
  streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Creeks and 
  streams may rise out of their banks from ice jam releases. 
  Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas, including 
  basements and crawlspaces.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - High temperatures will reach into the 40s and 50s, increasing
    area snowmelt and runoff and introducing the risk for ice jam
    releases.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action 
should Flood Warnings be issued.

Prevent Roof & Gutter Issues: Clear gutters and downspouts to allow 
proper drainage and reduce the risk of ice dams and leaks.

Remove snow from roofs where safely able to do so. 

Prevent Water Ponding & Flooding: Move snow away from home 
foundations and clear window wells, to ensure proper drainage.

* WHEN...Until 2 PM MST /1 PM PST/ this afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, 
  creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. 
  Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur 
  in poor drainage and urban areas. Runoff will increase the risk 
  for rock and mudslides below steep terrain.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
