Wind chill values during the daytime hours Tuesday and Wednesday may not rise above 15 below zero. Overnight temperatures will be prone to become even colder if clouds are not as thick as expected or if any breaks in the cloud cover occur. Many daily record low temperatures are in jeopardy during this time and perhaps even a few monthly low temperature records especially if clouds break. Accumulating snow is also forecast to occur which may also cause temperatures to fall even further and pose an additional hazard to livestock. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Dress in layers including a hat, face mask, and gloves if you must go outside. Monitor the latest forecasts and warnings for updates. Make sure outdoor animals have a warm, dry shelter, food, and unfrozen water. Make frequent checks on older family, friends, and neighbors. Ensure portable heaters are used correctly. Do not use generators or grills inside. && $$ KAK
