...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH THIS AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
  possible.

* WHERE...The following counties, in southeast Indiana, Dearborn,
  Ohio, Ripley and Switzerland, the following counties, in Kentucky,
  Boone, Bracken, Campbell, Carroll, Gallatin, Grant, Kenton, Lewis,
  Mason, Owen, Pendleton and Robertson, and the following counties,
  in Ohio, Adams, Brown, Butler, Clermont, Clinton, Fairfield,
  Fayette, Hamilton, Highland, Hocking, Pickaway, Pike, Ross, Scioto
  and Warren.

* WHEN...Through this afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
  creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
  Soils remain moist and excessive runoff may result in flooding of
  rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone
  locations. Area creeks and streams are running high and could
  flood with more heavy rain.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - Widespread rainfall of 2 to 3 inches, with locally higher
    amounts, has allowed for high water and flooding at various
    locations within the watch area. Although precipitation will
    change to snow after daybreak, flood impacts will likely
    persist well beyond the end of the heavy rain.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

People in the watch area, especially those living in areas prone to
flooding, should be prepared to take action should flooding develop.
Monitor the latest forecasts and be alert for possible flood
warnings.
