...THE TORNADO WARNING FOR NORTHEASTERN SHELBY COUNTY IS CANCELLED...
The tornadic thunderstorm which prompted the warning has moved out
of the warned area. Therefore, the warning has been cancelled.
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 800 PM CDT for eastern
Arkansas...and west Tennessee.

...A TORNADO WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 600 PM CDT FOR CENTRAL
TIPTON COUNTY...
At 548 PM CDT, a confirmed large and extremely dangerous tornado was
located near Munford, or 10 miles north of Millington, moving east at
50 mph.
This is a PARTICULARLY DANGEROUS SITUATION. TAKE COVER NOW!
HAZARD...Damaging tornado.
SOURCE...Radar confirmed tornado. Spotter on the Tipton/Shelby
County line also reported a tornado.
IMPACT...You are in a life-threatening situation. Flying debris may
be deadly to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes
will be destroyed. Considerable damage to homes,
businesses, and vehicles is likely and complete destruction
is possible.
Locations impacted include...
Munford, Brighton, Dixonville, Tipton, Atoka, Gilt Edge, Burlison,
Garland, Egypt, Quito, Wilkinsville, Drummonds, Idaville, Crosstown,
Beaver, Akins Corner and Randolph.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
To repeat, a large, extremely dangerous and potentially deadly
tornado is on the ground. To protect your life, TAKE COVER NOW! Move
to a storm shelter or an interior room on the lowest floor of a
sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a mobile
home, or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter and
protect yourself from flying debris.
