The National Weather Service in New Orleans has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Northwestern St. Charles Parish in southeastern Louisiana...
  Central St. John The Baptist Parish in southeastern Louisiana...

* Until 1000 PM CDT.

* At 748 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing 
  heavy rain across the warned area. Between 5 and 8 inches of rain 
  have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 3 to 5 inches are 
  possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected 
  to begin shortly.

  HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Torrential rainbands
           producing flash flooding.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
           urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Hahnville, Laplace, Reserve, Norco, New Sarpy, Taft, Destrehan, 
  Montz, Killona, Boutte, Luling, St. Rose, Paradis, Ama, Edgard, 
  Bayou Gauche and Des Allemands.

This includes the following Interstates...
	Interstate 10 in Louisiana between mile markers 220 and 221.
	Interstate 310 between mile markers 1 and 11.
