...A TORNADO WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 445 PM MDT/545 PM CDT/
FOR NORTHWESTERN HITCHCOCK AND NORTHEASTERN DUNDY COUNTIES...
    
At 424 PM MDT/524 PM CDT/, a confirmed tornado was located 8 miles
southeast of Wauneta, or 17 miles northwest of Trenton, moving north
at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Damaging tornado and two inch hail.

SOURCE...Weather spotters confirmed tornado. At 422 PM MDT...a 
         confirmed tornado was located 12 miles north northeast of 
         Max. 

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
         shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage 
         to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree damage is 
         likely.

This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
northwestern Hitchcock and northeastern Dundy Counties.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

To repeat, a tornado is on the ground. TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a
basement or an interior room on the lowest floor of a sturdy
building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a mobile home, or in
a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter and protect
yourself from flying debris.
