...THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 215 PM CDT FOR
SOUTHERN LINCOLN AND NORTHWESTERN POTTAWATOMIE COUNTIES...
At 1222 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy
rain across the warned area. Up to three inches of rain have already
fallen in some areas. Flash flooding is expected or maybe ongoing.
Some locations that will experience flooding include... Shawnee,
Tecumseh, Chandler, McLoud, Pink, Meeker, Davenport, Wellston,
Earlsboro, Johnson, Sparks, Warwick, Brooksville, Dale, Bethel
Acres, Aydelotte and Harjo.
Additional rainfall amounts of one inch remain possible in the
warned area.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
