At 642 PM EDT, showers was located along a line extending from near 
Northeast River to near Mayo, moving east at 30 knots. North Bay 
buoy gusted to 37 knots at 6:18 PM, and Grove Point buoy gusted to 
31 knots at 6:36 PM.

HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater. 

SOURCE...Observed wind. 

IMPACT...Boaters in small craft could be thrown overboard by 
         suddenly higher winds and waves capsizing their vessel.
