JEFFERSON...STEPHENS...SOUTHEASTERN COTTON AND NORTHWESTERN CARTER
COUNTIES...
At 1059 PM CDT, local law enforcement reported flash flooding
resulting in water over numerous secondary roadways surrounding
Waurika. Flash flooding is already occurring.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
