* Tornado Warning for...
Central Audrain County in central Missouri...
Northeastern Boone County in central Missouri...
* Until 1115 AM CDT.
* At 1036 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a
tornado was located near Murry, or 7 miles northeast of Columbia,
moving northeast at 65 mph.
HAZARD...Tornado.
SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.
IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught
without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or
destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows and vehicles will
occur. Tree damage is likely.
* Locations impacted include...
Columbia, Centralia, Hallsville, Murry and Thompson.
This includes Interstate 70 in Missouri near exit 131.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a well-built
building away from windows. If you are outdoors, in a mobile home,
or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter and protect
yourself from flying debris.
