...WIND ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 2 AM TO 8 PM EDT THURSDAY...

* WHAT...South winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts 45 to 55 mph expected.

* WHERE...Portions of northern New York and northwest Vermont.

* WHEN...From 2 AM to 8 PM EDT Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree 
  limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Several rounds of gusty winds are expected 
  with the first impacting the northern slopes of the Adirondacks 
  and northern Champlain Valley from 3 AM to 8 AM Thursday, followed 
  by another round of strong gusty winds impacts all of northern New 
  York into northwest Vermont on Thursday afternoon and evening.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high 
profile vehicles. Use extra caution.
