.Snowmelt and some ice jams were keeping the flow along the Poplar 
River high. This advisory is in effect while the river remains high. 
Significant flooding is not expected at this time.

...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 445 PM MST SUNDAY...

* WHAT...Minor flooding caused by snowmelt and/or an ice jam is 
  expected.

* WHERE...A portion of northeast Montana, including the following 
  county, Roosevelt.

* WHEN...Until 445 PM MST Sunday.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. 
  Some low-water crossings may become impassable.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1218 PM MST, Gauge reports indicated an ice jam with snow
    melt. Minor flooding is ongoing or possible in the advisory
    area.
  - Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is
    expected.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Poplar.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law 
enforcement and request they pass this information to the National 
Weather Service when you can do so safely.
