...The National Weather Service in Louisville KY has issued a Flood 
Warning for the following rivers in Indiana...Kentucky...

  Ohio River at McAlpine Upper affecting Jefferson, Clark, Floyd 
  and Oldham Counties.

  Ohio River at McAlpine Lower affecting Jefferson, Clark, Harrison,
   Hardin, Meade and Floyd Counties.

.Heavy rain from the past 48 hours will cause the river to rise.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the 
dangers of flooding.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Ohio River at McAlpine Upper.

* WHEN...From this morning until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 26.0 feet, Mockingbird Valley Rd. floods south of 
  Mellwood Ave.
  At 27.0 feet, River Road floods at many locations from 3rd St. to 
  Glenview. Blankenbaker Lane closes south of River Road. River Dell 
  Rd. floods at Mellwood Ave. Riverside Dr. floods at many locations.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 3:00 AM EST Monday the stage was 21.6 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 20.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    this morning and continue rising to a crest of 27.5 feet
    early Thursday afternoon.
  - Flood stage is 23.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    26.6 feet on 03/12/2011.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Ohio River at McAlpine Lower.

* WHEN...From this afternoon until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 55.0 feet, Parks and riverfront areas in Clarksville 
  and New Albany flood. Some yards along US 31W (Dixie Highway) from 
  Pleasure Ridge Park to West Point KY flood.
  At 58.0 feet, IN 111 floods upstream of Bridgeport.
  At 59.0 feet, Overbrook Rd. floods south of Lake Dreamland Rd.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 3:00 AM EST Monday the stage was 52.2 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 45.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    this afternoon and continue rising to a crest of 59.5 feet
    early Thursday afternoon.
  - Flood stage is 55.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    59.1 feet on 01/12/2005.
