...COLD WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 6 PM THIS EVENING TO 
MIDNIGHT CST TONIGHT...
...EXTREME COLD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT FROM MIDNIGHT TONIGHT TO NOON 
CST TUESDAY...

* WHAT...Dangerously cold wind chills as low as 30 to around 35 
  below expected.

* WHERE...Much of northern Iowa along and north of Highway 30.

* WHEN...For the Cold Weather Advisory, from 6 PM this evening to 
  midnight CST tonight. For the Extreme Cold Warning, from midnight 
  tonight to noon CST Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...The dangerously cold wind chills as low as around 35 
  below zero could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 
  10 minutes.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Wind chill values will rise quickly mid to 
  late morning Tuesday and by mid-afternoon wind chills of 5 to 15 
  below will be common across central Iowa.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Dress in layers including a hat, face mask, and gloves if you must 
go outside.

Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, a 
hat, and gloves.
