The National Weather Service in Los Angeles/Oxnard has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  The Santa Susana Mountains in western Los Angeles County and 
  eastern Ventura County in southwestern California...


* Until 900 AM PST Monday.

* At 113 AM PST, Doppler radar and rain gauges indicated heavy rain 
  across the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to 
  begin shortly.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by heavy showers.

  SOURCE...Radar and rain gauges.

  IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, highways,
           streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage
           and low-lying areas. In addition, landslides are
           expected.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  eastern Simi Valley, Chatsworth, Santa Clarita, Porter Ranch and 
  Granada Hills.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.
