The National Weather Service in Little Rock has extended the

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Central Desha County in southeastern Arkansas...

* Until 245 PM CDT.

* At 1146 AM CDT, trained weather spotters reported thunderstorms 
  producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 8 and 14 
  inches of rain have fallen. Flash flooding is ongoing.

  HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms
           producing flash flooding.

  SOURCE...Trained spotters.

  IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
           urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Rohwer, Tillar, Kelso, Lucca Landing, McGehee, Reed and McArthur.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

Please report flooding to your local law enforcement agency when you 
can do so safely.

A Flash Flood Warning means that flooding is imminent or occurring. 
If you are in the warned area move to higher ground immediately. 
Residents living along streams and creeks should take immediate 
precautions to protect life and property.
