...A TORNADO WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 445 PM CST FOR WESTERN
ARMSTRONG AND SOUTHEASTERN RANDALL COUNTIES...
At 414 PM CST, a confirmed tornado was located 6 miles west of
Wayside, or 19 miles southeast of Canyon, moving northeast at 40 mph.
HAZARD...Damaging tornado and baseball size hail.
SOURCE...Weather spotters confirmed tornado.
IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage
to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is
likely.
Locations impacted include...
Claude, Wayside and Palo Duro Canyon.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
To repeat, a tornado is on the ground. TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a
basement or an interior room on the lowest floor of a sturdy
building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a mobile home, or in
a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter and protect
yourself from flying debris.

...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 430 PM CST
FOR EASTERN POTTER AND EASTERN MOORE COUNTIES...
At 414 PM CST, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 4 miles east of Sunray to 7 miles northwest of Lake
Meredith to 6 miles northwest of Amarillo, moving northeast at 40
mph.
HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect some tree damage. Damage is likely to mobile homes,
roofs, and outbuildings. Hail damage to vehicles is
expected.

Amarillo, Dumas, Fritch, Masterson, Four Way and Lake Meredith.
