The National Weather Service in Mobile has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Butler County in south central Alabama...
  Conecuh County in south central Alabama...
  Covington County in south central Alabama...
  Crenshaw County in south central Alabama...
  Escambia County in south central Alabama...
  Southeastern Monroe County in south central Alabama...
  North Central Baldwin County in southwestern Alabama...
  Northwestern Escambia County in northwestern Florida...

* Until 345 PM CDT.

* At 946 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing 
  heavy rain in A portion of southwestern Alabama and northwestern 
  Florida. Between 3 and 15 inches of rain have fallen. Flash 
  flooding is already occurring.

  HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Hurricane rainbands
           producing extremely heavy rainfall.

  SOURCE...Doppler radar, river and raingage reports.

  IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
           urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Andalusia, Bay Minette, Atmore, Greenville, Opp, Brewton, 
  Evergreen, Luverne, Century, Flomaton, Stockton, McCullough, East 
  Brewton, Georgiana, Uriah, Brantley, McKenzie, River Falls, 
  Castleberry and Excel.

As Sally moves those bands will begin to train across interior 
regions of the area and individual cells will repeatedly move over 
the same locations.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.
