* Flash Flood Warning for...
Southern Lamar County in southeastern Mississippi...
* Until 300 AM CST.
* At 1155 PM CST, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain moving back into the warned area. 2 to 4 inches of rain
have already fallen. Flash flooding is expected to begin shortly.
* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Purvis, Lumberton and Baxterville.
Additional localized rainfall amounts of 2 to 4 inches are possible
in the warned area.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
