...THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 845 PM EDT FOR
SOUTHWESTERN BALTIMORE COUNTY AND BALTIMORE CITY...
At 555 PM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
thunderstorms producing heavy rain over the area. More than an inch
and a half of rain has been observed in the southwestern quarter of
Baltimore City in the last 30 minutes, and heavy rain is still
falling. THIS IS A PARTICULARLY DANGEROUS SITUATION. Stay away from
floodwaters and MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND NOW!

Baltimore, Pikesville, Elkridge, Dundalk, Towson, Catonsville,
Woodlawn, Randallstown, Parkville, Carney, Milford Mill, Perry Hall,
Lochearn, Arbutus, Rosedale, Rossville, Brooklyn Park, White Marsh,
Linthicum and Garrison.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as
well as other drainage areas and low lying spots.
