At 1132 AM EDT, a gust front was moving into the upper tidal Potomac
River, moving east at 25 knots. Numerous wind gusts of 35 to 45
knots have been observed with this line.
HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater.
SOURCE...Observed wind.
IMPACT...Boaters in small craft could be thrown overboard by
suddenly higher winds and waves capsizing their vessel.
