...THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 230 AM CDT FOR
SOUTHEASTERN LINCOLN AND NORTHEASTERN POTTAWATOMIE COUNTIES...
At 1102 PM CDT, emergency management reported flooding due to
thunderstorms producing heavy rain between Meeker and Prague. Up to
two inches of rain have already fallen. Flooding is occurring along
Highway 62.
Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Prague, Johnson and Centerview.
Additional rainfall amounts of up to an inch are possible in the
warned area.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is
harder to recognize the dangers of flooding.
