FRANKLIN COUNTY...
At 854 PM CST, a large and extremely dangerous tornado was located
near Christopher, moving east at 45 mph.
This is a PARTICULARLY DANGEROUS SITUATION. TAKE COVER NOW!
HAZARD...Damaging tornado.
SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. Significant damage was reported
from the Ava to Vergennes area at 846 p.m. If you live in
Christopher, Mulkeytown, and Buckner, you need to seek
shelter now.
IMPACT...You are in a life-threatening situation. Flying debris may
be deadly to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes
will be destroyed. Considerable damage to homes,
businesses, and vehicles is likely and complete destruction
is possible.

West Frankfort, Christopher, Zeigler, Valier, West City, North City,
Buckner and Orient.
