13 Nov 2024 Update: The tool was updated to use non-hash link style URLs. A shim is in place to translate the old URLs to the new ones, so nothing should be broken (famous last words). This was done to allow the HTML5 History API to provide a better user experience.

If you are in the watch area, remain alert to possible flooding.

Residents and those with interests near the river should monitor 
rising water levels and be prepared for possible flood warnings.

* WHAT...Flooding is possible.

* WHERE...North Fork Coquille River near Myrtle Point.

* WHEN...From Sunday morning to Monday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 30.0 feet, Expect some flooding of pasture areas 
  along the North Fork Coquille River in low-lying areas near the 
  river. The rising water may impact cattle and other pasture 
  grazing farm animals.
  At 33.0 feet, Expect many areas of pasture flooding particularly 
  near the confluence with the South Fork Coquille River near Myrtle 
  Point. Impacts on cattle and other farm animal grazing should be 
  anticipated.
  At 35.0 feet, Expect widespread pasture and agricultural flooding. 
  Moderate bank erosion along the North Fork Coquille River and its 
  tributaries can also be expected.

  - At 3:45 PM PDT Saturday the stage was 23.1 feet.
