13 Nov 2024 Update: The tool was updated to use non-hash link style URLs. A shim is in place to translate the old URLs to the new ones, so nothing should be broken (famous last words). This was done to allow the HTML5 History API to provide a better user experience.

* At 654 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 12 nm northwest of
Lake Maurepas, moving east at 40 knots.
HAZARD...Wind gusts in excess of 50 knots.
SOURCE...Radar.
IMPACT...Boats could suffer signifficant structual damage in high
winds. Small craft could capsize in suddenly higher
waves.

was located over Lake Maurepas, moving east at 40 knots.
HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts in excess of 65 knots.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Waterspouts can quickly form and capsize boats...damage
vessels and oil rigs...and create suddenly higher waves.
Expect wind gusts in excess of 65 knots and suddenly higher
waves. Boats could sustain catastrophic damage in high
winds or even capsize.
