13 Nov 2024 Update: The tool was updated to use non-hash link style URLs. A shim is in place to translate the old URLs to the new ones, so nothing should be broken (famous last words). This was done to allow the HTML5 History API to provide a better user experience.

Standing water and ponding will continue over the next several hours near and within the city of Rayne. Neighboring cities within western Lafayette and eastern Acadia Parishes will also continue to experience aerial flooding through the next several hours. Streams continue to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall. Expect many areas of slow moving or standing water. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 849 PM CDT, emergency management reported heavy rainfall has occurred in Rayne due to thunderstorms. Although rainfall has ceased, flooding is still ongoing.
