13 Nov 2024 Update: The tool was updated to use non-hash link style URLs. A shim is in place to translate the old URLs to the new ones, so nothing should be broken (famous last words). This was done to allow the HTML5 History API to provide a better user experience.

The National Weather Service in Wilmington has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Boone County in northern Kentucky...
  Kenton County in northern Kentucky...
  Campbell County in northern Kentucky...
  Hamilton County in southwestern Ohio...

* Until 630 AM EST Sunday.

* At 1157 PM EST, radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain 
  across the warned area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have 
  fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 1.5 inches are 
  possible. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
           areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
           other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that may experience flash flooding include...
  Cincinnati, Covington, Newport, Florence, Hebron, Alexandria, 
  Independence, Fort Thomas, Burlington, Rabbit Hash, Norwood, 
  Erlanger, Sharonville, Blue Ash, Springdale, Reading, Montgomery, 
  Harrison, Madeira and Edgewood.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

To report flash flooding, go to our website at weather.gov/iln and 
submit your report via social media, when you can do so safely.
