This application allows easy navigation of National Weather Service issued products with Valid Time Event Coding (VTEC).
13 Nov 2024 Update: The tool was updated to use non-hash link style URLs. A shim is in place to translate the old URLs to the new ones, so nothing should be broken (famous last words). This was done to allow the HTML5 History API to provide a better user experience.

East central Oxford County in western Maine...
North central Androscoggin County in southwestern Maine...

* At 937 AM EST, a dangerous snow squall was located along a line
extending from near Kingfield to near Weld, moving southeast at 20
mph.
HAZARD...Intense bursts of heavy snow. Gusty winds leading to
blowing snow and visibility rapidly falling to less than
one-quarter mile. Wind gusts up to 20 mph.
SOURCE...Radar and webcams.
IMPACT...Travel will become difficult and potentially dangerous
within minutes. Dangerous travel is expected on ME-4 and
ME-27 near Farmington.
Locations impacted include...
Jay, Phillips, Strong, Weld, Industry, Carthage, Smithfield, Rome,
Town Of Washington, Norridgewock, Vienna, Salem, Anson, Perkins,
Livermore, Starks, Wilton, Avon, Chesterville, and Temple.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Slow Down! Rapid changes in visibility and road conditions are
expected with this dangerous snow squall. Be alert for sudden
whiteout conditions.
Reduce speed and turn on headlights! During snow squalls, the
visibility may suddenly drop to near zero in whiteout conditions.
