The flood threat will continue into the overnight hours as streamflows will continue to rise from earlier rain and snowmelt. - Avoid flooded roads - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Anson, Embden and New Portland. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Water levels can rise and fall quickly in the vicinity of ice jams.
