13 Nov 2024 Update: The tool was updated to use non-hash link style URLs. A shim is in place to translate the old URLs to the new ones, so nothing should be broken (famous last words). This was done to allow the HTML5 History API to provide a better user experience.

...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 830 AM CST THIS MORNING...

* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive 
  rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Portions of Henderson and Navarro Counties.

* WHEN...Until 830 AM CST.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. 
  Water over roadways and ponding of water on roadways is occurring 
  or is imminent.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This
    will likely cause urban and small stream flooding. Low lying
    and/or poor drainage areas will experience minor flooding in
    the advisory area.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Corsicana, Gun Barrel City, Mabank, Tool, Kerens, Seven
    Points, Eustace, Trinidad, Angus, Enchanted Oaks, Barry,
    Navarro, Lake Halbert, Flag Lake, Richland-Chambers
    Reservoir, Cedar Creek Reservoir, Purtis Creek State Park,
    Rice, Payne Springs and Retreat.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the 
dangers of flooding.
