13 Nov 2024 Update: The tool was updated to use non-hash link style URLs. A shim is in place to translate the old URLs to the new ones, so nothing should be broken (famous last words). This was done to allow the HTML5 History API to provide a better user experience.

* WHAT...Small stream flooding and flooding from the Garcia river 
  caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of northwest California, including the following 
  county, southwestern Mendocino.

* WHEN...Until 800 PM PST Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying 
  and flood-prone locations is occurring on Highway 1. Highway 1 is 
  closed north of Point Arena.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 758 AM PST, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges
    indicated continuing rain. Flooding is already occurring in
    the warned area. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain have fallen.
  - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are possible in
    the warned area.
  - Highway 1 between Point Arena and Manchester

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.
