13 Nov 2024 Update: The tool was updated to use non-hash link style URLs. A shim is in place to translate the old URLs to the new ones, so nothing should be broken (famous last words). This was done to allow the HTML5 History API to provide a better user experience.

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...A portion of southeast Georgia, including the following
county, Jenkins.
* WHEN...Until 745 PM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 545 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated a nearly stationary
line of showers and thunderstorms extending across Jenkins
County. As much as 1 to 4 inches of rain has already fallen
across some areas today and additional 1 to 2 inches of rain
could fall through 745 PM, resulting in minor flooding of
low-lying and poor drainage areas.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Millen, Butts, Emmalane, Perkins, Lincoln State Park, Jenkins
County Hospital, Lawton, Rogers, Four Points and Thrift.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
