This application allows easy navigation of National Weather Service issued products with Valid Time Event Coding (VTEC).
13 Nov 2024 Update: The tool was updated to use non-hash link style URLs. A shim is in place to translate the old URLs to the new ones, so nothing should be broken (famous last words). This was done to allow the HTML5 History API to provide a better user experience.

* WHAT...Flooding caused by an ice jam is occurring.
* WHERE...A portion of southern Vermont, including the following
county, Windsor.
* WHEN...Until 215 AM EDT Tuesday.
* IMPACTS...Flooding of the North Branch of the Black River is
occurring and has resulted in the closure of VT 106.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 814 PM EDT, emergency management reported an ice jam near
the warned area. Flooding is ongoing with water over VT 106.
- Impacts are very localized and have been limited to the
immediate vicinity of the ice jam.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
VT 106 near the intersection of Tarbell Hill Rd.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Obey road closure signage. Flood waters are difficult to see during
the overnight hours.
