  West Central Cameron County in deep south Texas...
  Southern Hidalgo County in deep south Texas...

* Until 630 AM CDT.

* At 259 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing 
  heavy rain across the warned area. Between 6 and 12 inches of rain 
  have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are 
  possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected 
  to begin shortly.

  HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms
           producing flash flooding.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
           urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Edinburg, Mission, Pharr, Harlingen, Weslaco, San Juan, Alamo, 
  Donna, Mercedes, Hidalgo, La Feria, Elsa, Progreso, Palmview,

emergency managers report flooding issues due to the heavy rainfall 
continue across the warned area and rescues are ongoing.
