.Rain will change over to freezing rain tonight and continue into 
Sunday. Ice accumulations will range from a glaze to a half inch in 
spots. In addition to the ice, there will be mix of sleet and snow 
which may produce up to 1 inch late Sunday afternoon and evening.

Due to a more southern track in the surface low, temperatures will 
be colder in central Wisconsin. This will result in a glaze to a 
quarter of an inch of ice. As a result, Adams, Jackson, Juneau, and 
Monroe counties were added to the Winter Weather Advisory.

...FREEZING RAIN MOVING IN TOWARD MIDNIGHT, CONTINUING OVERNIGHT...

.Rain will become more widespread across the region moving into the 
overnight hours. With temperatures around freezing across parts of 
central and north-central Wisconsin, that rain will freeze on 
untreated surfaces, including roads and trees. Accumulations from a 
glaze to as much as 1/2" are possible by daybreak Sunday, with the 
higher amounts more likely across eastern sections of Taylor and 
Clark counties in Wisconsin. Locally, much of the freezing rain is 
expected to hold north of Interstate 94.

While roads may be fine for travel now, that will not be the case as 
we move farther into the night time hours. Wet roads will become icy 
roads and good travel will quickly become slick to hazardous to 
dangerous. Check on road conditions and the latest forecasts before 
traveling. If your plans include locations north and especially 
northeast of I-94, reconsider, alter or cancel them.

.Ongoing rain, heavy at times, with temperatures hovering near and

0.25" is possible today north of Interstate 94.

...FREEZING RAIN MOVING IN TOWARD MIDNIGHT, CONTINUING OVERNIGHT...

.Rain will become more widespread across the region moving into the 
overnight hours. With temperatures around freezing across parts of 
central and north-central Wisconsin, that rain will freeze on 
untreated surfaces, including roads and trees. Accumulations from a 
glaze to as much as 1/2" are possible by daybreak Sunday, with the 
higher amounts more likely across eastern sections of Taylor and 
Clark counties in Wisconsin. Locally, much of the freezing rain is 
expected to hold north of Interstate 94.

While roads may be fine for travel now, that will not be the case as 
we move farther into the night time hours. Wet roads will become icy 
roads and good travel will quickly become slick to hazardous to 
dangerous. Check on road conditions and the latest forecasts before 
traveling. If your plans include locations north and especially 
northeast of I-94, reconsider, alter or cancel them.
