The National Weather Service in Burlington has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Northwestern Essex County in northeastern Vermont...
  Northeastern Orleans County in northeastern Vermont...

* Until 615 AM EDT.

* At 313 AM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated 
  thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 
  4.5 and 6 inches of rain have fallen. The expected rainfall rate 
  is 0.75 to 1.5 inches in 1 hour. Additional rainfall amounts of 
  0.75 to 1.5 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding 
  is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

  This is a FLASH FLOOD EMERGENCY for Morgan Center. This is a 
  PARTICULARLY DANGEROUS SITUATION. SEEK HIGHER GROUND NOW!

  HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms
           producing flash flooding.

  SOURCE...Radar and automated gauges.

  IMPACT...This is a PARTICULARLY DANGEROUS SITUATION. SEEK
           HIGHER GROUND NOW! Life threatening flash flooding of
           low water crossings, small creeks and streams, urban
           areas, highways, streets and underpasses.
