Rainfall amounts in excess of ten inches of rain have fallen. Flash flooding is already occurring. This is a FLASH FLOOD EMERGENCY for much of Grenda county, especially the city of Grenada and northern Carroll county. Several water rescues have occurred, numerous roads are closed and a dozen or more houses were flooded. This is a PARTICULARLY DANGEROUS SITUATION. SEEK HIGHER GROUND NOW! * Some locations that will experience flooding include... Grenada, Leflore, Jefferson, Teoc, Elliott, Avalon, Bew Springs, Holcomb and Malmaison.
