URGENT - FIRE WEATHER MESSAGE

...RED FLAG WARNING FROM TUESDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH TUESDAY 
EVENING FOR EASTERN AND MUCH OF CENTRAL NM DUE TO STRONG WINDS 
AND LOW HUMIDITY...

.A fire growth pattern will continue through Wednesday with 
breezy to windy conditions and low humidity values. The coverage 
and intensity of critical fire weather conditions will peak on 
Tuesday due to very strong winds. The potential exists for wind 
gusts up to 65 mph and locally extreme fire weather conditions in 
eastern New Mexico Tuesday afternoon. Temperatures and winds drop 
on Wednesday, but there is a moderate chance of continued critical
fire weather in south-central and eastern areas.

...RED FLAG WARNING WILL EXPIRE AT 8 PM MDT THIS EVENING...

* AREA AND TIMING...Northeast Highlands (Zone 123) for Tuesday 
  between noon and 9 PM. 

* 20 FOOT WINDS...West winds of 30 to 40 mph with gusts up to 65 
  mph on Tuesday. 

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...Minimum values between 10 and 15 percent. 

* IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly. 
  Outdoor burning is not recommended.. 

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Please advise the appropriate officials or fire crews in the
field of this Red Flag Warning.

Flag Warning to expire for the Upper Rio Grande and Lower Chama
River Valleys. Critical fire weather conditions have diminished
over the area.

  gusts between 50 and 65 mph on Tuesday.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...Minimum values 10 to 15 percent.

* IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly.
