The National Weather Service in Charleston West Virginia has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Eastern Raleigh County in southeastern West Virginia...
  Southeastern Fayette County in southeastern West Virginia...

* Until 415 AM EDT.

* At 359 AM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
  extending from near Piney View to near Ellison, moving east at 50
  mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Ghent, Shady Spring, Meadow Bridge, Beaver, Daniels, Piney View,
  Stanaford, and Beckley.

This includes the following highways...
 West Virginia Turnpike between mile markers 28 and 37.
 Interstate 64 in West Virginia between mile markers 123 and 137.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Damaging wind, and continuous cloud to ground lightning are 
occurring with these storms. Move indoors immediately. Lightning is 
one of nature's leading killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder, 
you are close enough to be struck by lightning.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
