...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 645 AM EDT THIS MORNING...

* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive 
  rainfall are expected.

* WHERE...Portions of south central and southeast Kentucky, 
  including the following counties, in south central Kentucky, 
  McCreary and Whitley. In southeast Kentucky, Bell and Harlan.

* WHEN...Until 645 AM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. 

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 343 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream
    flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Harlan, Middlesboro, Wallins Creek, Hutch, Meldrum,
    Binghamtown, Cubage, Noetown, Kentenia, Fonde, Pruden,
    Hensley Store, Liggett, Frakes, White Star, Martins Fork,
    Peepace Store, Mary Alice, Pearl and Teetersville.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.
